Meet Our Kiln Technician

Jared Soper is an all round amazing kiln technician!

He is well known in Victoria for being the industry go to guy for all kiln warranty, maintenance and servicing needs for the majority of kiln companies. But even more importantly all my pottery friends RAVE, yes RAVE about him. Having such a great repuatation as a skilled technician and nice all round guy with a wealth of information, as well as being dependable and resolving issues in speed like service, it was a no brainer decision to make to ask him to be part of our team here at Australian Pottery Supplies (APS).

You can be rest assured having Jared on our team any issues you may have will be serviced and sorted as quickly as possible. He is also there as a support to discuss your needs, as well as install, maintain, service, and in the unlikely need of any warranty issues sort them out as quickly as possible.

Jared can also be on hand as a liaison for your chosen electrician if you live interstate and need some advice or information for servicing or installation of the bigger kilns.

We will stock the consumables for the kilns here at APS and in the event we do not have on hand what you need, we can get courier delivery from the UK in 7-10 days.

Hear why Kilncare is so loved.

I’ve had 2 Kilncare kilns in the last 10 years.

My first was a bead annealing kiln and next I bought a hobby fuser.

On both occasions the buying and aftercare from Kilncare has been excellent.

I’ve had no problems with the bead annealer at all. A minor problem with the hobby fuser was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I thoroughly recommend this company and its knowledgeable workforce completely.

Here at Firedglass we run workshops 4 days a week and as a result our kilns run every day to keep up with throughput.

We needed our kilns to run from a 13 amp plug and were looking for efficiency too. Kilncare was the obvious choice for us because the HobbyFuser Deep was the largest plug in available when we purchased.

When the larger CubFuser was added to the Kilncare family, we didn’t hesitate and have had both for around 5 years now. Both kilns are super efficient and on bright days running for free on solar power is a bonus.

Kilncare service is legendary and when our CubFuser burnt out a relay (in lockdown), a quick call to Lee resulted in a new relay arriving in the post the next day and the kiln hardly missed a beat.

Have recommended Kilncare over and over to students looking to start their own studio and will continue to do so.
