It's all about the elements...

kiln elements

There's more than one way to talk about elements

There are the chemical elements from the periodic table, like chloride and sodium that form a compound we call salt. There are non-chemical elements that make up a larger item or a genre, like the elements of art. Something can be left out in the elements (the weather) and suffer for it. Or, the word could refer to the wound, spring-like things in your kiln.

It's all very element-ary
They look like long springs, but they are the very life-blood of your kiln. Without good elements, all you have is a fancy storage container or garage dust magnet. But when those elements are in good shape and turned on, they're literally hot!

KilnCare kiln elements are made from Kanthal A1 metal—Sweden-made of ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium (the periodic table elements, FeCrAl) alloy, for use up to 1400C/2550F. They're wound at the KilnCare factory in Stoke on Trent and installed in your kilns before we ship them to you, our customers.
